All over!
Well the Relay is over and we all had a great time (despite the weather!) and raised a lot of money for the Cancer Society - latest figures were around $245K. Unfortunately the rain didn’t let up over the weekend and so on Saturday afternoon the organisers made the tough decision to stop the Relay at Midnight (12 hour relay instead of the full 24).  This didn’t stop everyone enjoying...

Winner - Guess the number of sweets
Congratulations to Brendon W.  He was the winner of the “guess the number of sweets in the jar” competion with the closest guess of 113 sweets - there were actually 116. Good job Brendon, and thanks to everyone who supported us.

The idea of the relay is for teams to complete a relay-style walk or run where team members take turns to keep their baton moving for 24 hours. There is a great atmosphere at the relay created through entertainment, camping, spot prizes and most importantly the vibrancy of the hundreds of lively people on the track!  Please come along and join us for the whole weekend, or just for a short time. ...

Fundraising Event: Guess the number of sweets in...
Pop up to the 11th Floor reception in the School of Business and make a gold coin donation to guess the number of sweets in the jar. Gold coin donation per guess - guess as many times as you like. Win the entire jar of sweets.  The winner will be drawn from correct entries on Fri 30th Jan. All donations go to the iTeam Relay For Life fundraising effort.

What is Relay For Life?
Relay For Life is a fun-filled, overnight event to raise funds for research and programs for the Cancer Society. Relay For Life events are held all over the country and the world.  In Dunedin, NZ, the event will be held on 21-22nd Feb 2009 at Logan Park.
